Children entering
this class must be 4 years old by September
1st. We offer two programs for this age level: Half Day
9:30AM-12:00PM or Full Day 9:30AM-2:30PM on Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday.
The morning includes small group and large group teacher-directed
activities, crafts, week-themed lessons, stories and
music; all
correlating to the topic of the week. The class will also go on
several field trips throughout the year upon
completion of themed
units.
The afternoon program expands upon the morning lessons as well as
refining small motor skills needed for kindergarten.
Our goal is
to help the children develop academic skills, independence and
confidence needed for success in kindergarten.
